Location: Cerignola, Tressanti district.
Vinification: Hand-picked. Harvest: Manual. The grapes, selected in the vineyard, are destemmed and pressed, and fermented on the skins for approximately 7-10 days. Malolactic fermentation. Aging: 6 months on its lees.
Appearance: Ruby red
Nose: Its decisive intensity, with a burst of dark fruit reminiscent of Mediterranean blackberries, grafted onto a background of pleasant notes of pepper and licorice.
Palate: The palate is dense, austere, with good freshness and supported by firm yet smooth tannins that linger until the finish.
Food pairings: Pasta first courses with tomato based sauces, pan-fried grilled meats with potatoes, and aged cheeses.
