THE MIGLIORI FAMILY

The Migliori family has been active in the agri-food sector for several generations—likely because they have successfully evolved alongside the changing market.

In the 1950s, a promising poultry shop was opened in the historic center of Ascoli Piceno; this business was a natural progression from their previous venture: trading eggs purchased from farmers in the countryside surrounding the city.

Zè Migliori—an ambassador of Ascoli’s culinary heritage and local traditions—returned to the local countryside to seek out the legendary *Ascolana* olives (now protected by the PDO designation). He personally sources this fruit—which had nearly vanished—to serve as the foundation for the famous "Oliva Ascolana del Piceno in salamoia PDO" recipe, supplementing the harvest from his own olive grove.

Today, that same tradition lives on with undiminished passion, upheld by Zè himself and the entire Migliori family: his wife Marinella, his son Augusto, and a team of loyal staff members.
