Grape Variety: 100% Nero di Troia
Appellation: Nero di Troia Puglia IGT
Location: Cerignola, Contrada Tressanti
Vinification: Hand-harvested. The grapes, freshly arrived at the cellar, are destemmed and pressed. They ferment on the skins for approximately 15-20 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place. Aging: 50% of the wine is aged in 225-liter barriques and the other 50% in 25-50 hl oak barrels on its lees for 24 months.
Color: Ruby red
Nose: The nose reveals great intensity and complexity of ripe red fruit.
Palate: An excellent balance between elegant tannins, lively freshness, and alcohol. Full-bodied and long-lasting on the palate and nose.
Food pairings: savory first courses with red sauces, pan-fried grilled meats with potatoes, and aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: 18-20°C
