On the palate, it is warm, balanced, convincing. Very persistent with notes of tobacco, cinnamon and honey in the aftertaste.
For the 5-year aging of this precious eau-de-vie, we chose a medium-toasted French oak barrel, used for a single short cycle of wine refinement.
The choice was dictated by the need to enhance the intensely fruity notes present in the young distillate, still very perceptible after this long rest in wood.
