A Brazilian specialty coffee grown in the Carmo de Minas region and cultivated with love by Isidro Pereira and his son Luiz Paulo.
The Acaia variety that makes up this lot is a hybrid between Typica and Bourbon, very close genetically to Mundo Novo, another very common variety in Brazil. This variety gives its best between 800 and 1200 meters above sea level and is characterized by large leaves and fruits which, once ripe, take on a beautiful bright red colour.
Once harvested, the ripe fruits are dried on concrete patios for about 20/25 days until the drupe is completely dry.
Like most coffees from Brazil, this too is a coffee that expresses its best in espresso, with a good creamy body, fine acidity and high sweetness with notes of milk chocolate, almond and raisins.
