A Visit to Strada Ferrata Distillery
I discovered this distillery just months after it was founded and have followed its extraordinary journey—from the early "On-The-Way" spirit to its first whiskies.
Discovering exceptional products requires patience. I first spotted this promising distillery during a trip to the Milan area. At the time, their "On-The-Way"—a spirit that had not yet reached the mandatory three years of maturation—had immediately piqued my interest.
That persistence has paid off: since the "Second Release," I have had the privilege of securing an exclusive selection for MO Tra Mozzarelle & Olive with every new edition. In this video, filmed in November 2025, I had the opportunity to get a preview tasting of their "Fourth Release" alongside Stefano Zanetto, the distillery’s General Manager and co-founder. Finished in Marsala casks, this edition undoubtedly confirms the distillery's status as a new benchmark.
