The "Fourth Release" was crafted from two successive casks, distilled in 2022 and bottled in 2025. It is both Strada Ferrata's fourth whisky and their first four-year-old.
The first cask, an ex-bourbon, plays the most significant role in the blend, having been distilled from Monaco malt.
Finished in an ex-Marsala cask.
Color: Amber
Nose: Sweet and caramelized, with notes of caramel and vanilla toffee, underpinned by intense hints of fortified wine. It is enriched with fruit and subtle spicy and balsamic notes.
Palate: Clean and elegant on the palate, with a balance between malty and vinous notes.
Finish: A subtle hint of tobacco emerges on the finish.
Unchill-filtered and without artificial coloring.
