Soft, raw-milk caciotta cheese, completely coated with ground black pepper. This is the base of 'Liliane'.

APPEARANCE

A soft, peppery cheese with a slight break in the rind, a springy texture, and a creamy consistency. The black pepper is evident throughout the rind.

FLAVOR

Well-balanced, the peppery flavor is bold, adding punch and complementing the buttery texture of the base cheese.

MATURING

At least 30 days

Its rounded flavor makes it suitable for all occasions, satisfying even the most sophisticated palates. It can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, paired with a mineral white wine such as a Soave, Ribolla Gialla, Collio, or Lugana DOC. It is recommended for enhancing meat dishes such as Mexican-style chicken or fresh pasta with white meat ragù. Remove the crust if you are sensitive to pepper.
